Description
The Junior SLYR Lite ArcWolf is an evolution of last season’s incredibly popular Hyperlite model, combining its lightweight one-piece construction with SLYR design and features; like the new X-Wrap Control preventing the glove from feeling “too” lightweight or loose, securing and wrapping it to your hand and thumb. Every decision made on the development of this glove has been made to shave off every single gram possible without compromising on features.
Ultra Lightweight One-Piece Construction
Continuing where last year’s Hyperlite model left off, the backhand is constructed from one piece of AirLite™ mesh. Meaning the glove feels incredibly lightweight, breathable and flexible. You will not a find a lighter or “truer” feeling glove in our range than the Lite series.
Negative Cut
Negative cut goalkeeper gloves (and hybrids that utilise this style) have become increasingly popular over the past years, particularly across Europe. They are similar to the flat cut in that they use a single piece of latex attached to the backhand via gussets, the key difference is that the stitching/gussets are inside the glove. This provides a much tighter and snug fit with control on the ball that is more “true” to your hand. Due to this, gloves utilising this type of cut will wear slightly quicker than roll finger for example.
X-Wrap Control™
The SLYR range debuts our all new X-Wrap Control™ system which wraps the latex around key palm and thumb touch points – this not only gives you additional latex and grip coverage on the edge of your hand, but also locks it into place giving a more secure and controlled feel. Additionally, the system has specific cuts within the wrap itself to deliver additional flexibility, ensuring secure and controlled doesn’t mean tight and restricted.
Cyclone Wet Weather Latex
The latex featured on the Junior SLYR Lite ArcWolf is our essential wet weather “Cyclone” latex. Specifically formulated to combat tricky conditions, it performs excellently in the wet but will still perform well in the dry providing you keep it damp during game time. If you love the look of the this glove but typically play in dry conditions, splash some water on the palms and you’re good to go.
